On Thursday, we passed around Oreo cookies and wrote about the experience. On Friday, we had an Oreo stacking contest in our classroom. It was so much fun! Ian stacked 26 Oreos! That was more than anyone in our class. On the computer, Mrs. Hiestand told us that an average 3rd grader could stack 18 Oreos. That means Ian is above average!
We learned that the world record for Oreo stacking was 80 Oreos. We made a pictograph to show how many Oreos we stacked. Our class average was 19 Oreos. We also ate some delicious, scrumptious Oreos after we were done stacking. We had milk to dunk our Oreos in. Yummy! The next week, we made sculptures out of Oreos. Look below for pictures of Oreo-palooza!
